The way you look determines how you experience the world!

“It can be different.” Four seemingly simple words, spoken by one of the participants of the programme Intuitive Coaching based on Transformational Presence. It was her answer to my question: what is the most important thing Transformational Presence has brought you so far?
“It can be different”, a short sentence with enormous depth, expressing a profound impact. It reflects her realisation of how she relates to life, how she was brought up to view life in a particular way, and that it can fundamentally be different. And when you approach life from that different perspective, you experience life in a completely different way. It is not a realisation she stands in alone. It is the effect that Transformational Presence typically has on people when they first encounter it.
So what is so “different”?
Instead of immediately jumping into action and working on a solution, you pause, listen, and sense. Instead of thinking you need to know right away, give yourself permission to explore with curiosity and discover. Instead of staying focused on causes and explanations, you shift your attention to the opportunity hidden within the situation. You replace resistance to what is with a willingness to move with it. Rather than being quick to judge, you remain open to what the situation is trying to show you.
At its core, it is about approaching life, and whatever happens, first from your heart. Being open to new information, receptive to intuitive insights, and only then engaging the mind and taking action. In other words, shifting your starting point, your initial place from which you approach everything, from your head to your heart. First turning on “input mode” (gathering information, exploring, learning), and then, from a deeper awareness, moving into “output mode” (doing, performing).
What is the effect of this different approach?
In the words of other participants:
“More connection with myself and with others”
“Trust”
“Unexpected answers and turns, more clarity, and it brings me back to my core”
“A clear sense of what my contribution is about”
“Being able to listen to myself, to others, to life”
“More calm and a greater sense of freedom in what I do throughout the day”
“Energy and relaxation”
This week, take a few moments to pause and bring your attention to what the situation you are in is trying to show you. Be curious, listen, and sense. Then take action from there. And stay curious about what it brings you.
Wishing you lots of enjoyment!
