The Freer You Become, the More Powerful Your Presence
In my last blog, I shared my new daily work routines—made possible by a conscious choice: letting what I want take the lead, instead of what seems possible in my schedule. That story resonated with many of you. And it also brought a great question a dear friend asked me: for whom, and why, were you working so hard back then?
That question took me back to my own development journey of the past 15+ years. If I had to sum it up, I used to live by two words: see me. I looked for validation outside myself (appreciate me), and I did my best not to disappoint others (like me).
Looking back, I realize almost everything I’ve done was part of my journey inward—moving from head to heart, learning how to be kinder and more loving toward myself.
And today? I can honestly say:
I see me
I appreciate me
I like me
It’s not a finished journey—because it never is—but the effect is tangible and real. I feel freer on the inside. I experience more calm. I find it easier to express myself clearly. My sense of wholeness has grown. It’s no coincidence that my soul mission is: I invite wholeness. It’s my greatest gift to others—and at the same time, my own greatest challenge.
Last week, a group of participants wrapped up their one-year Transformational Presence Facilitation Program. They, too, had been on their own personal journeys. Each of them found a way to share what their journey had been about.
“I am now fully loyal to the place I’m meant to take,” said one.
Another spoke about finding “a deeper sense of self-confidence.”
And someone else described feeling more connected to themselves first, making it easier to build deeper connections with others.
That’s the power of being—the power of showing up fully present, with an inner sense of freedom. From there, you can hold space for whatever wants to unfold. That’s what makes the difference as a facilitator.
Those two days were beautiful. There’s nothing quite like watching someone come home to themselves—and then share that in their own authentic way in the presence of others. For me, this work is all about becoming as fully human as possible. That’s what makes it so meaningful.
And maybe that’s also something for you to reflect on this week:
How are you showing up as fully human as you can?
What inner threshold holds you back?
Who are you being asked to become?
And what’s one small step you could take to lower that threshold?
I’d love to hear what this stirs up in you.
Wishing you love and compassion for yourself.
