3 Questions for More Inner Peace and Joy
What wants to happen? This requires moving beyond your possible judgment about a situation and being receptive to the information or message present in the situation. It opens the door to hidden potential.
Who are you being asked to be? This question highlights a shift in how you present yourself in a situation, how you position yourself, and which of your qualities should come to the forefront. It is about the (further) growth and development of your deepest 'being' and how you bring that out.
What are you being asked to do? This question invites you to take a first step from the alignment in your being. Not a grand plan of action but a first step. And because this step is informed by your 'being', it usually has several effects: it is immediately clear and impactful in nature. It requires little to no energy (no 'paralysis by analysis').
To make the three questions as practically applicable as possible, I would like to give you four variations:
What is attracting my attention? How do I want to relate to it? What is my next step? | What am I learning? Who do I want to be in this? What is my next step? |
What is the underlying message? What does that ask of me in how I show up? What is my next step? | What is the larger movement happening here? What role do I want to take in this? What is my next step? |
My invitation for this week is to examine these four variations carefully and carry them with you as you navigate the situations that come your way. Which variation helps you open new doors of awareness and handle the complexity of everyday life with more ease and simplicity?
I wish you much joy!
